Swim Tee

Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Cropped Tee #109 07/2017

Modification: For this top I wanted to create more contrast, so I drafted a panel along the raglan sleeve line to incorporate the orange canvas. The pattern called for piping in this seam, but I wanted more than just a little piping. You can see how I added the panel here.

Fabric: The orange canvas is leftover from another dress project and I got at King Textiles in Toronto. Then the feature fabric, those vintage swim girls, are from Fabricland. It is a printed crepe.

Notes: This pattern is a petite sized pattern and I sewed it up in size 20, which was a perfect fit. I also created this top for my July Mash Up on BurdaStyle.com, and you can see how I put it together here in part 1 and part 2. Black pants are from Joe Fresh.
