Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Cropped Jacket #109 08/2015; Bermuda Shorts #131B 03/2011; Tie Top #116A 05/2017
Modification: The jacket and shorts for the BurdaStyle Certification Course as they are two of the required projects in order to pass the course and become certified! So there were no modifications done to these patterns as they were meant to be sewn as is, The BurdaStyle Way. Then the white tank is another version of the Tie Top that I sewed up, and instead of the grommets for the straps I sewed in traditional straps and crossed them in the back.
Fabric: The shorts I sewed up in stretch denim and used a contrasting cotton print for the pocket linings for a little “pop” of visual interest. Then the jacket was actually sewed using leftover green stretch fabric from these pants! Lastly, my tank was made using white satin.
Notes: The white satin was leftover from a wedding jumpsuit I made a couple years ago. I always tend to use up every little bit of fabric I have.
