Patterns: BurdaStyle’s Button Front Skirt 06/2019 #113 & Jersey Top 02/2013 #109
Modification: I pretty well kept this style true to the pattern, I only slightly shortened it as well as moved the belt loops over to the side a little to avoid excess bulk at the waistline pleats.
Fabric: Yellow! I’m loving this vibrant yellow twill, and once I saw this skirt pattern in the 06/2019 issue of BurdaStyle magazine I knew this twill would be perfect. I got this fabric from King Textiles in Toronto, and utilized contrasting tortoise buttons that really make the front pop!
Notes: This skirt was my June 2019 Mash Up, and you can see it sewn together in parts one and two. I’m also wearing a me made top for this outfit. It’s the top I made for the June/July 2018 issue of Sew News Magazine in the Tank-A-Palooza article.
