Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Peek-A-Boo Back Top #116 04/2018
Modification: I cut the sleeves/upper back piece in mesh and didn’t add any seam allowances onto the curved edges since I didn’t need to finish them. I also drafted cuffs onto the sleeve pieces to incorporate some ribbing.
Fabric: All of these fabrics were scraps that I can’t even remember where they were from – I think I have been trying to use up that black mesh for years. My favorite thing to do is to look in my stash and see what I have to work with instead of buying new yardage.
Notes: This was my #burdachallenge2018 submission for April and it came together so easily! I think I started and finished it in one afternoon, and now I have a new sporty style top that I love.
