Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Long Sleeve A-Line Dress #120A 09/2016
Modification: For this dress I first eliminated the most dart and converted it into a seam line. Then I added a flounce into the curved style line to incorporate my bright blue mesh! See the modification post here.
Fabric: I purchased this bright orange floral cotton at Fabricland and the blue stretch mesh was from scraps. See the sewings posts part 1 & part 2 here.
Notes: To be honest I wasn’t crazy about this dress when I was finished sewing it, but once I put it on and belted it to photograph it I fell back in love. I just gravitate to anything bright and unique.
