Off-The-Shoulder Floral Top

Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Off-The-Shoulder Blouse #110 05/2018

Modification: The straps were the main thing I edited out of this top. I initially sewed them in, but after fitting number one, they just weren’t right. I think the bare shoulder look with this top too is much better and accents the neckline perfectly.

Fabric: Had a bunch of this cotton floral lying around from a fabric haul my friend who works in set design gave me. I was determined to use it somehow, and I thought the modern silhouette of this top pattern nicely complimented this “granny” printed fabric. Totally granny chic!

Notes: I made this top as part of my #burdachallenge2018 in May. What a fun challenge to get me sewing a little bit more and using up scrap fabrics.
