Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Wrap Dress #101 07/2016
Modification: I didn’t do much to this pattern, I simply altered the bust area to accommodate binding instead of a strap. I also added an additional strap when I was done sew for extra support at the bust. See the modification post here.
Fabric: The main body of the dress was Shannon Fabrics Solid Embrace Black and the top was scrap printed fabric from King Textile in Toronto. I was so drawn to the vibrant green, purple and silver in the print.
Notes: I usually never wear midi length skirts or dresses as I always thought it was an awkward length but I love it on this dress. The additional strap was not planned, but I love the look and I needed it to keep the dress up!
