Patterns: BurdaStyle’s Triangle Back Blouse #114 04/2016 & Pleated Culottes #106B 04/2016
Modification: The top I sewed as is, but for the culottes I cropped a little more off the hem since this pattern size is made for a 5′ 6″ woman.
Fabric: For the perfect summery on-trend style I used Shannon Fabric’s breathable Geo Lines Metallic Embrace Cobalt/Gold double gauze.
Notes: Every time I wear these together I get so many compliments, and often people think it’s a jumpsuit until I raise my arms and shout “it’s two pieces”! Love the look of a jumpsuit, but the practicality can get annoying – this is the perfect solution.
