Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Long Sleeve Sheath Dress #114 11/2015
Modification: For this dress I added in slash lines to separate the pattern in order to add the lacing detail with grommets. See the modification post here.
Fabric: I used a stretch lime green suede found in the back corner of Fabricland when it was once upon a time in the basement of Honest Eds. I also used basic curtain grommets and show laces!
Notes: This is one of my favourite dresses that I have made, it was inspired by a Proenza Schouler look from NYFW. This project was for our Runway to Reality Look Book. Download the book to see my sewing process. I have still yet to actually wear this dress, I’m just waiting for the perfect occasion.
