Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Vintage A-Line Dress #113A 07/2018
Modification: For the bodice of this dress I omitted the lining since I used a silk jersey for the top.
Fabric: At King Textiles in Toronto I found these identical prints in both silk and silk jersey. So I cut the bodice in the jersey, and then the skirt portion in the plain silk. It was the perfect paring and made the dress comfortable to wear – yet so flowy on the body.
Notes: I had been holding onto these fabric for a long while until the perfect pattern came along. It was also the perfect dress to wear to a friend’s summer wedding!
