Embroidered Retro Jeans

Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Pleat Trousers #113 102017

Modification: For these pants I created a cuff to utilize the frayed selvedge edge of the denim I was using and also embroidered the side seam of one leg.

Fabric: Denim with a bit of stretch from King Textiles in downtown Toronto. I bought a sh*t load of this denim from working on my Jean Jacket Sew-Along and had so much leftover I was sewing denim garments from left to right! See this entire denim outfit here.

Notes: These pants were made for my October Mash Up, and since October is National Pants Month – I just HAD to sew up a pair of pants for that month. Funny enough though, this pattern was the only pants pattern in the entire issue, so I really had to choice. I do love them thought and my sewing process can be seen in parts one, two, and three.
