Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Dress with Side Slits 05/2019 #108
Modification: I did a lot to this dress pattern including making it a two-piece! What really drew me to this pattern were the sleeves and I wanted to make it into a top to get more mix and match wear out of it. Then for the skirt portion of the dress I omitted the darts and transformed it to have an elasticated waistband.
Fabric: For the top I used this fabulous floral printed crepe from King Textiles, and it paired perfectly with this olive green embellished cotton I purchased from Joann Fabric when I was in Colorado filming a new sew-along.
