Bridal Bathing Suit

Pattern: BurdaStyle’s Halter Swimsuit 07/2019 #112

Modification: The only modification I did was adding two layers of spandex to the body of the swimsuit since my outer lace layer was see-through.

Fabric: Not speaking of fabric! I wanted the limegreen to shine through and I really love how they paired together. I purchased both at King Textiles in Toronto and they have similar stretch factors so they were able to sew and stretch together quite well which is important in knits.

Notes: I call this my “bridal bathing suit” because I made it to wear for my wedding weekend! There was a pool at the hotel we were staying at, so it got some use and I still looked like a limegreen bride (which was the goal).
