It’s Sew Easy, episodes 1611 & 1703
I filmed two episodes of It’s Sew Easy TV back in the summer of 2018, and it was a wonderful experience. This first one aired in 2019 as part of their 1600 series and features me constructing a BurdaStyle bikini bottom pattern. The second episode aired in the 1700 series where I demonstrate how to convert a BurdaStyle dress into a two-piece matching set.
1611 Poolside Glamour: Look and feel like a star when you’re on vacation or by the pool Joanne Banko has a knit cover-up that doubles as a dress and is enhanced with specialty stitching. Then, take the fear out of bathing suit season with Meg Healy. Look and feel your best in a suit that fits you perfectly when you make it yourself. Watch the entire episode here.
1703 Dress Up: Learn how to dress up your wardrobe in this episode. Joanne Banko looks at the details in making an original pashmina wrap using trim and embroidery. Then Meg Healy has pattern alterations to take a dress from one to two pieces as a style or fit choice. Finally meet June Mellinger for block #2 and flying geese – this season we’ll have 3 variations of this favorite design. Watch the entire episode here.
